First Race Weekend Recap!

Well the first weekend is behind us! Practice day on Friday brought cold raining weather. This caused mostly a wasted day aside from knowing that the race bike would run properly. Saturday was still cold in the morning but warmed up as the day progressed but there was a pretty good wind across most of the track. Had one race that day. Ultra Light Super Sport. I took 7th out of 10. Sunday was by far the best weather day. Cool in the morning but by race time was about 63 with little wind. I had 3 races; Sportmans Ultra Light, Ultra Light Super Bike, and Ultra Light Grand Prix. First race I put down my best laptime of the weekend 2:39.066. Not a great time but I'm still working on getting over my issues since my crash last May. I managed to take 4th of 6 in that race. Second race I took 7th of 10 and the last race, which the wind had picked up emensly, I took 8th of 11. All in all it was a good weekend. I got some track time in, the bike ran great, and I need to adjust the suspension. I have a track day coming up next weekend so I should be able to get the suspension sorted out. Then it'll be time to mentally prepare for June! I will post some pictures as soon as I get them. So look for a new update mid June.

New Year

Well it's a new year! My first race season is in the books. It was definately an interesting first year. It had its ups and downs but I had a blast! I am very excited and getting ready for this year already. I will be sure to add info for this season as it comes available. Thanks for stopping by.
